Learn MoreIn 2019, the Festival joined the celebration of the harvest of the first scientifically cultivated European black truffle in America, a major milestone achieved by the American Truffle Company® (ATC) in December 2018. Prior to this first harvest, the Festival imported all fresh truffles from Europe. As ATC’s truffle-growing client-partners ramp up production in America, the Festival will continue to source more and more fresh European truffles from its own domestic sources. These domestically produced European truffles have the unrivaled advantage of being ultra-fresh, and therefore a superior quality to European produced truffles that take much longer to reach American kitchens.
